BTHCC SPORTS DAY MONTAGE

Eddie Coldrick of PI4LI Media was in charge of editing the audiovisuals recorded at the annual Sports Day event at the school by himself and two other students. This involved ingesting footage from 3 different cameras with different methods for each - a very time-consuming task. One camera required all footage to be deinterlaced on ingest. The videos then needed to be edited into a very quick, fast-paced motion and be fitted to the music, which were summer-style pop songs, similar to the ones played at the event. The audio sometimes dips into the microphone recording of the event to hear commentary, the whistle, etc. Mr Regan, head of Year 11 and Teacher of PE at Blessed Thomas Holford Catholic College, commented, "This is an absolute[ly] fantastic piece of work [...]. It shows the sports day in such a good light and you’ve all done so well to get outstanding footage. The way it has been put together is amazing."
